I had invasive lobular HER 2 + hormone negative breast cancer (stage2). My treatment seems different than yours. 12 wks of Taxol with Perjeta and herceptin every 3wks. Then a mastectomy, radiation and more chemo (Kadcyla) which included herceptin. Treatment began 6/21 and ended 8/22.

I believe that there are several accepted treatment modalities. Options may be different in small cancer centers than in larger centers. Our age, overall health, stage of our cancer also enter into the decision for treatment.

I did develop neuropathy in my feet. It was not debilitating and didn't get any worse. It occasionally bothers me when I'm in bed and trying to sleep.

Thank you Maggieb for responding. You are right. Mine was stage 4. MBC spread to lymph nodes and liver. That is the reason they say targeted therapy for life.

Wish you the very best and forever good health!
