Probably Cherril. When you see your dr. mention it to him/her.
Yup, with PN, your feet burn - sometimes - sometimes they're ice cold. The cold feels better. My PN was chemo-related although, there was some "tingly" feeling before chemo started. anyway, as stated above - I don't care what they call it - I wish they could just fix it - preferably without some wonder-drug med that will cause something else I don't want. Nobody seems to agree on what it is - just treat the symptoms - so this could go on and on and on...
Mary,
Saw my rheumatologist today and it's arthritis in my feet (as shown in my bone scan), however, he also said that it could be from my neck (neck is very bad). I had an xray of my foot today and he wants me to get an MRI (which I will wait forever to get), and also go for the EMG that my GP wants me to have. I am so sick and tired of going to drs. Oh, I also was told yesterday that my sugar levels are up and I had to start on meds for that as well.
I am sorry you had to go thru chemo, I understand it's hard. Hope you are doing better.
Thank you. I will definitely do that. Although I think I might have to tell my Rheumatologist, as my Primary Dr. doesn't seem to offer much dialog about the foot pain.

i do have Perepheral Neuropathy in my feet, but this is more burning it seems. Would it also contribute to overall horrific soreness of my feet?
