@melia7 Hi, I had a similar experience. I used the Marodyne starting with the 10 min a day and working up to two 7-10 minute sessions per day. I also was doing heel drops about 5 days a week and doing what I could with food and supplements though I'm very restricted there due to food sensitivities. End result was I lost 9% density since the previous scan (16 months prior). I had the DXAs checked by Lani Simpson in case there was a mistake. Nine percent is a scary big loss though if the DXAs were only a year apart it would have been less of a loss. Lani thought the DXA's were good, meaning I was losing bone fast. For me LIV and also heel drops were not helpful.
I had not used any osteo drugs prior to this. After this I finally decided to do Evenity and I'm 7 shots in on that. I'm also doing a modified version of Belinda Beck's Liftmor weight training program for bone loss along with several other exercise methods. No vibration and no heel drops this time around. Fingers crossed. Best of luck to you!

Hello, it was useful to hear about your experience with a vibration platform! I think that it is our duty to report our negative results about vibration in order to prevent that other OP patients choose this road. However, for more than 1 year I lived with a hope that vibration will help. May be I lost time and should start taking medicines earlier. I am interested to know if you tried to take bisphosphonates before choosing Evenity? Was it possible for you to ask your doctor the prescription for Evenity before trying bisphosphonates? Here, in Spain, one can change medicines only if after the period of 1 year with bisphosphonates, your DEXA shows no improvements or is worse. Thanks for your wishes of luck! I wish the best in your therapy road to you also!

I have a vibration platform and use it every day. I take no medication for osteoporosis but go to Osteostrong, which has worked for me. They have vibration plates at Osteostrong but they vibrate at a far less rate of speed than the one I have. Mine is a AXV. I’m not reading anything positive about the plates on this site and wonder if anyone out there feels they had good results using it.
Regarding your Dexa scan I’ve been told by
many doctors that you should always have the test done on the same machine. Calibrations vary from machine to machine.
Looking forward to some replies about the vibration plate. Thank you
