Light Headedness and Dizziness related to foot neuropathy
I was diagnosed with neuropathy in my feet 3 years ago. I do not have diabetes. I have some burning and mild occasional pain in my feet. I do have ongoing and worsening dizziness especially when moving around or standing in one place. My neurologist says this is from my neuropathy. I don’t know anyone else with neuropathy who has this problem. I’ve had a few different physical therapy treatments that haven’t helped. Anyone else experience this?

There OTC at Costco / a very reasonable price. Also simple exercises that help with balance are well worth the time.
Thank you. This is very helpful.
Thanks for the reply but I take no medication.
No, not on any meds at this time.
I have the same thing. Am doing PT, some yoga. Walking with a cane. Been told it is neuropathy in feet and dizziness. Driving is questionable. Am on Low BP meds. BP is usually 126/56. With meds. Any feedback most welcome.
I have the same thing, though mine goes hand in hand with my diabetic neuropathy. I have had numbness in the pads of my feet for over 10 years, which has been a nuisance. I was recently diagnosed with vertigo, as the dizziness has gotten dramatically worse over the past few years. Been to physical therapy (to no avail) and have had all sorts of tests over the past few years. My local ENT doctors have given up and are sending me to an ENT specialist in St Louis to see if they can be of help. Don't give up, remember a doctor only knows what they have learned and been exposed to in their practice, much like us with our learning and life experiences.
I have the exact same problem. It's similar to a state of drunkenness. But I suspect that my cervical spine, which is not in good condition, may be contributing to it. I'll let you know how the other tests go.
