My opinion is that you should check back with the provider that gave you the injection. I believe it's possible that the medication didn't get into the correct space. I've had several injections and all have helped with the exception of one. That one was given by an NP working with my rheumatologist. I believe the medication wasn't injected exactly into the bursa. I'm not sure but maybe the MD could give you another injection if you talk to him. Just my thoughts.

Well...the hip pain did improve alot after I got a 2nd injection a week later, more in the front of the hip, in the joint. But I now have groin pain... and achy legs still. I'm now scheduled for an MRI on June 14. Wish me luck...I want to get to the bottom of this, but fear the results.... Ugh...trying to stay positive...
