A lot of people have already mentioned the Hoka brand and I agree because they are good for my feet as well. I have the Hoka Bondi 8 which is one of the best cushioned shoes that they have. I also have the Brooks Ghost 15 running shoe as well as the Brooks Ghost MAX that is their most cushioned shoe.
However, my favorite for my feet is the New Balance More V4 cushioned running shoe. The cushion is so soft you will feel like you are walking on clouds. If that is what you are looking for in a comfortable shoe. I have found that running shoes from the top brands all have a MAX cushioned shoe. And for me they are more comfortable than any of the 2 dozen slippers that I have tried over the years.
I try to wear a different running shoe each day for as long as I can so that my feet won't get used to wearing the slippers.
The shoes that I have mentioned are expensive. However, I have never paid full price for any of them. Because I purchased all of them on EBAY. So, if you don't mind gently used shoes. That is the place to go for shoes, every pair I bought has been practically brand new with no smell, scrapes, or tears. It's a great place to get them at half price or less as well as my buying place for a lot of the slippers that I ended up donating because they just didn't work for me.
I need soft and cushioned shoes for my feet. Others are different, give Ebay a try and save some money when you can. Best of luck to all of us battling this horrible condition.

I agree wholeheartedly that EBAY is the place to get shoes. All I do is find what I am looking for, look at every single photo with the magnifier, then look for feedback on that seller, which is found right on that listing. I always ask for more pics if I cannot look at every part of the shoe. The shoes have usually been nicer than I could have hoped for, and I pay just a fraction of the cost of new.
I wear Saucony running shoes. that is all my feet will tolerate. But you are smart to rotate different shoes each day. Pardon my spelling or other errors.
