CTX serum blood test
I received a CTX serum blood test and was wondering if anyone can explain what the normal range may be for someone who has been on medication , Evenity, for a few months?

Here is a study that shows results from the clinical study "Romosozumab Treatment in Postmenopausal Women with Osteoporosis" https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa1607948 . Attached are the CTX results during treatment as well as my personal results on Evenity.
@rjkesal123 how many months after commence of evenity did you have this CTX test? Do you mind sharing the numbers? Do you have a reading before the start of evenity as a baseline? More importantly, did you have bone formation marker P1NP tested along with CTX? Thanks
Thanks you! The number was 498 before Evenity and after three injections 701. My endocrinologist says I am improving.
Thank you for sharing. Although your CTX readings didn’t appear to be typical when compared to average changes in a clinical trial, a look at both bone markers (CTX as well as P1NP) together would be the best for a drug like Evenity during therapy, to reveal a fuller picture of bone remodeling. If your recent CTX lab is within a week, ask for P1NP testing may not be too late so you can get a glimpse of the working dynamics between osteoblasts and osteoclasts.
