Has anyone used the drug 5 FU vaginally for VAIN 3?

Thank you ! Yes that’s what I did ! I am hoping it worked . It has caused a lot of vaginal irritation and discomfort but it also has made me not feel the best almost like having the flu . I don’t know if using the cream inside your body has any other like side effects I’m not sure if that’s why I kinda feel like I do. Thanks for all the info

Just one more thing, as I reread our posts: I was told Imiquimod was an "option" for my condition if the surgery/ablation was not possible, but it was not encouraged...again, for my condition, if used it would have to be for 4 - 6 months daily, and it would be burning that whole time the gyn onc advised.

Just so you know - I'm not sharing the info on Imiquimod as an option that would be any different than what you're experiencing with the Fluorouracil, just passing it along.
