Can anyone tell me what to expect following Y90? I am scheduled for this soon. I have one tiny liver met near my stomach so Y90 was suggested. After mapping, it was determined that Y90 will be administered at a lower dose but will target the entire left line of my liver. Apparently chemo changes to my veins makes it difficult to just target the tumor but they still feel this is a good option.

Will recovery be more difficult now that a larger area has to be targeted??

Appreciate any input. Just preparing myself. Thanks.

I had this. The recovery is almost nothing.
You will be sore where the line went in and you will want to stay in and take it easy for a day or two. Other than that, it was easy peezy. I believe they prescribed a few days of pain medicine but I didn’t really need it.
I hope it is effective for you!
