How often should patient with ckd stage 3 (A) be monitored?

I have labs done every six months. When first diagnosed I wanted it to be every 3 months but couldn’t find a Dr willing to do that. I believe they think they are protecting us from having to pay for labs that insurance won’t cover that often.

,@flow My nephrology labs among other lab tests are done typically by my PCP every 6 to 12 weeks. Depending upon your stage of CKD and how often you see your nephrologist, each visit can be 3 to 6 months with labs done that day like Mayo or a standing order.
