My Mayo surgeon. Dr. Ram Pathak. I did kegals every other day for six weeks prior to surgery. I would also do them while walking and moving around, not just when sitting or laying around. My thoughts are everyone does kegals before surgery but I was blessed that my cancer was contained to the prostate and I had Dr. Pathak. I owe my continence to his skill and the technique he used. Dr. Pathak is why I was continent so soon. He and Mayo are the best
