DCIS pathology
Hi
I had my surgery December 15th I just got my pathology this week and they originally told me my DCIS was insitu . I am er/ pr positive Her2 negative they found a slightly invasive cancer in 1 sample now I have to have my sinus nodes removed see surgeon Feb 14th. I was told because my needle biopsies were insitu they wouldn't remove sinus nodes. Anyone else have this experience

Hi
I have never had any side effects from contrast other than diarrhea
Hi. I am an xray tech. Have had mammos every year. And mris of breasts. Also ultra sounds. In Dec. '22 had ulta sound, and yearly mammo. Said neg. In April felt rock lump in left breast at 12:30 6 cm from nipple. Immediately had. Mammo and ultrasound. Negative. I redid ultrasound pointing to lump. They saw it. 11mm cancer. The mammo did not show it. I had ILC. Showed on mri. Now I am only having mris and ultrasounds the dye is my concern. I have no choice. Gadiolinium is only dye available. It stays in your system. I am having ultra sound may 25 and mri in july. I am having a flush iv after. And drinking Gatorade and lots of water too. Is there anyone that has had flush ivs after mri with dye? The print with dye says not to have dye more than 4 times in life time...I have no choice because my cancer was like cobwebs and did not show up on mammo at all. And was missed on ultra sound because ultrasound skimmed over it at first. I had to point out the rock hard bump with my finger. Nothing was in lymphnodes when they did lumpectomy. I did not have radiation nor antihormonal drugs for five years because i had a hysterectomy in 2022.. I had implants and had new ones put back in at
lumpectomy surgery. My blood work is good. I take metetrixate, plquenil folic acid for swollen hands from 3 years ago. My blood work neg for RA. I take neutafol for thinning hair after hysterectomy. Now my hair has thickened up. I work out on elyptical every day and hope cancer does not come back.
Hi
Wishing you well with everything ❤️
Anyone having the iv flushes after mri of breasts to counter the dye toxicity? Please tell me how and who ordered it for you at time of yearly mri.
