Hi ,@windyshores. I been having a therapy for two weeks without much improvement. The disc in my spine pressing nerve and the pain is very very bad. The worst part is that it’s radiating to my knees ( they feel locked). I am so hesitant to start Tymlos. Even I know I have to! Decided call pain doctor and get a cortisone shot . My endocrinologist doesn’t like it but I have to be able to function. Would you advise to start Tymlos before the shot or wait and start in a week or two? I value your opinion very much. I am very scared of another fracture ( I have a 4 in my spine already.

@sunny65 I encourage you to try Tymlos! I know it's scary but you can try a full dose, then if you don't like it you can go down to 1/2 dose or eve 1/4 dose and let your body get used to it. With a -4 in your spine it will be very helpful. I had impressive gains from Tymlos.

Rather than a cortisone shot, can you try a lidocaine shot? Or massage at PT?

Good evening @sunny65, I thought it might be helpful to share my Tymlos experience with you. @windyshores has helped me understand the importance of sharing our experiences with Tymlos. I selected Tymlos and completed two years without any side effects or discomfort. The results were positive.

May you be safe, protected and free of inner and outer harm.
