Glad to hear you have an upcoming appointment . I have sometimes contacted my doctors office via emsil/ nurse call etc, to advise of new symptoms and ask if they want any other lab work before I come in for my appt. Most times they do, and it is helpful to have everything they need regarding the new symptoms.
