My feet burn with neuropathy. A nurse friend sent me (from Amazon) a bottle of frankincense & myrrh. A very small amount rubbed into my feet actually soothes the burning pain. The bottle actually says Neuropathy on it. Use 2 or 3 times a day. Honestly helps
I have had peripheral neuropathy since 2016 after a cancer diagnosis and chemotherapy. I have tried and still take these medications without a lot of relief, pregabalin, duloxetine, oxicodone, topical RX. All of this causes fatigue. I've seen neurologist and pain clinics and they don't give me any other recommendations than what I'm doing. Always hopeful!
I believe that the Blueprint for Neuropathy program was a scam for me and several others. Don't waste your 10K on that program. There's a thread about it on this site if you want to know more.
I have been taking 900 mg of gabapentin, which does not help like it used to. While going to physical therapy after a hip replacement, the therapy center received Laser Therapy equipment. I was offered a free trial to see if it helps. That night, 80% of my pain was gone. The night of my second treatment, I had even less pain. I have invested $350.00 to have 10 more treatments. I will post my results in a few weeks, but so far there is definitely less pain at night.
After suffering stabbing pain for years and getting little help, I attended a seminar regarding "Stem Cell Therapy." At the seminar, there were a lot of near guarantees of how great these Stem Cell injections have been for people who were suffering from Neuropathy. Even the person who presented the seminar had a story of how he was cured from a near bedridden state from being a Bull Rider to a complete recovery!!??? All of us attending, who were suffering ate that story like apple pie! A 95% cure rate was also on the brochure. I bit and went to the Regeneration Clinic for my "Trial test" and told by Dr. Jamison that indeed I had Neuropathy (Which I already knew!) I had. I believed in the 95% cure. However, the cost was $10K and sadly it did not work! Buyer beware!!! $10K is a lot of money to lose for a working man!!
I think the biggest problem is neuropathy is a symptom of something else and not a disease in and of itself. What works for one person won’t necessarily work for another. My symptoms are caused by inflammation and I seme-successfully controlled the pain with supplements that targeted inflammation, then when that was no longer enough added LDN to the supplements and got another 10 months. Now that combination is not enough (either my body has grown a tolerance to what I am taking or it is progressing) and I am back at the search for relief.
So if you want to try something, ask your doctor about LDN - it worked wonders for me for about a year, and did nothing for my father with type-2 diabetic neuropathy, so your mileage may vary.
