I had gamma knife surgery almost a year ago. It helped one portion of my face but not around my eye toward my ear and above. Not sure if I want any more procedure or continue on meds.

I'm taking Trileptal 300mg 4x a day. I had to increase the med about four months ago. Still hoping.

The problem that I had with trileptal was my stadium kept falling to a critical level. They took me off of it.

Did you feel the electrical shock pain and also burning at the same time? If you did , did the GK work?

I do feel electrical shock at times. Usually if I forgot my meds. I had to change to gabapentin because trileptal was causing my sodium levels to be low. Had to start slow on building up medicine. Had lots of shocks and pain. Things have improved but I know I will never be free of pain and medicine
