@kwan

We had a consultation with a NET oncologist He recommended taking Octreotide as he had patients who have been on the medication for more than 10 years. Our appointment with the radiologist is only towards the month end, so more waiting.

I wonder what other patients have as follows up after their treatment with PRRT ? Any one had radiation on the pancreas tumor?

Kwan, I had PRRT at Mayo in Phoenix from April - October 2021 for various non-resectable tumors ( i.e. one in my stomach) and I have continued on Octreotide LAR every 28 days (which I had started in April 2018) after my first surgery to remove a 2 cm tumor
and 10" of my small intestine. I had another one and 11" of my large intestine removed in 2019.
Both the oncologists at Mayo and NM encouraged me to do so.
So far my scans have shown that my disease is stable and the tumors are considered "non-functioning". For me, it seemed like a way to "lock in" the effects of the PRRT. So far, so good.
