A doctor can suggest supplements but can't prescribe them because supplements aren't regulated by the FDA. They are not prescription medications and aren't tested. Big Pharma is not involved.

I'm sorry but I was under the impression that Big Pharma was in full control of the global pharmaceutical industry and indirectly had control over the FDA as well as the entire medical system. True or false it sure seems that way to me and whole lot of other people out there.
