Good evening, @tcramer623. Welcome to Connect. I am happy to see your first post and hope you have several posts from other neuropathy folks. Would you be able to tell us more about your neuropathy "story," including the type of neuropathy and the medical recommendations you have found helpful? For example, I did not have burning feet until recently. Now, I have not only burning feet but also ice-cold feet. My feet swell and change color to a purple or blue color.

One of the things I have just started doing is wearing socks up to 24 hrs a day. I know the temperature issues are from the inside of my feet, but it helps not to make them too cold or hot. I also have MFR, myofascial release therapy, twice a week to keep my feet as pain-free as possible. That service is such a gift.

Over the last few years, I have been comfortable in Mephisto daytime shoes with side zippers, so I don't have to deal with laces. My outdoor walking shoes are Hokas with high insteps and stretch laces that are easy to keep tied. I think the high instep is essential and makes a huge difference.

Hoping to hear from you and get to know your situation better.

May you be safe, protected and free of inner and outer harm.
Chris

I just sent this message to someone else. I have S.F. Neuropathy, I found a perfect comfortable in style shoe, TEVA 19^84 small sign is a triangle. I receive many compliments even from younger people! Hope this helps.
