I take anastrozole at night too. It helps sleeping through some of the side effect. Hot flashes , pain in joints, and sometimes mood changes. In the morning I’m a little stiff but after walking around and taking a shower it’s helps a lot. I have been on this for almost 2 years. Started Aug of 2022. It’s a wonderful medicine if you can stick with it. I do seem to find that people with high estrogen and Pr seems to do better with the side effects. I was 58 post menopause. Stage 2 with 1 sentinel lymph node positive. Would love to hear if anyone has the same and how they are doing

Also ER/PR+ (99/69%) HER2- stage 2, 2 sentinel node+. On Anastrozole for two years; now on Brand Arimidix which lessened side effects which are mitigated by yoga, stretching, walking. I take it in the morning but thinking to switch to evening and see if my days have a little less joint discomfort. Also beginning a daily tart cherry extract trial to see if that may help also.
Fortunately my side effects are mild to moderate so I can tolerate this med which has such success with my diagnosis.
