I like these Hubberman videos. I think he is on the right track about how cortisol maintains our health and well being. Those circadian rhythms are essential to good health and how we cope with stress. Those routines are things that should be practiced more. I think that is the biggest problem with taking prednisone because it is no match for how cortisol and the HPA axis naturally regulates these things without much thought on our part except to try and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Prednisone disrupts this mechanism by putting things in manual control when it should be left in autopilot.

It is a complex topic. My perspective is more from after things got out of whack probably because of too much prednisone. When I study how everything works I realize how complicated it is. It just reminds me how little I know.

When I was young man, trading help on chores with an elderly neighbor farmer, ... I don't want stupid or silly thing I did, but he hollered at me "Son, not only you don't know the answers, ... You don't know the questions!"

As far as recovery from PMR and adrenal conditions, ... I would really like to know the right questions!
