I am having the same nerve pain problem. I’m about to have the Miniprocedure which is a non invasive surgery to make more space for the nerves. Anyone else have this procedure?

What procedure are you having and where that gives more space for nerves?

Michael Phelps used cupping in one of his olympics. They take these special, clear glass jars and put some kind of flame inside. Then the flame is extinguished and the "cup" is pushed onto the skin where pain is evident. As the inside of the cup cool, a vacuum forms, causing the tissues to be drawn slightly upward into the cup. Supposed to help with something, not exactly sure what.

I wonder if I just use my vacuum cleaner hose and have someone suck on my pain points if it would work like cupping?! 🤣

Look up the mini procedure online. It may be fairly new…not sure. They drill/chisel out bone in the spine that is pressing on nerves causing pain. My pain runs all the way down my leg from L4-5. Very small incision and muscles not cut during the procedure.

Thanks! I will look it up. I have sever spinal stenosis and facet joint arthritis in my cervical and lumbar spine. I get injections in L4L5 since that is my worst compression of nerves.

Patients with severe nerve pain often seek relief through various treatments and medications. While the effectiveness of different approaches can vary from person to person, several options have shown promise in managing nerve pain:

Medications: Certain medications, such as anticonvulsants (e.g., gabapentin, pregabalin) and tricyclic antidepressants (e.g., amitriptyline, nortriptyline), are commonly prescribed for neuropathic pain relief. These medications work by altering pain signals in the brain and can provide significant relief for some individuals.
Physical Therapy: Physical therapy techniques, including exercises, stretches, and manual therapy, can help alleviate nerve pain by improving mobility, reducing muscle tension, and promoting nerve healing.
Topical Treatments: Topical creams, gels, or patches containing ingredients like lidocaine, capsaicin, or menthol can provide localized pain relief when applied directly to the affected area.
Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS): TENS therapy involves applying electrical stimulation to nerve pathways through electrodes placed on the skin, which can help reduce pain perception.
Acupuncture: Acupuncture, an ancient Chinese therapy involving the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body, has been reported to provide relief for some individuals with neuropathic pain.
In addition to these conventional treatments, many individuals with nerve pain have found relief from using CBD (cannabidiol) products, such as CBD oils. CBD is a non-intoxicating compound derived from the cannabis plant, and it has been studied for its potential analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. Some people report that CBD oil helps alleviate neuropathic pain, although more research is needed to fully understand its effects and optimal dosing.

Weedborn CBD oils are one option to consider, as they offer a range of CBD products made from high-quality hemp extracts. When choosing a CBD oil, it's essential to look for products that are third-party tested for potency and purity, and to start with a low dose and gradually increase as needed. As always, it's advisable to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new treatment regimen for nerve pain.
