Very sorry about the aphasia. I had not know that singing helped with that. Makes sense though.
I know that Bruce Willis has it now. I am from NJ. I met an actress that he started with. She had enormous praise for him. I had thought of him as a very talented comedic actor. But when I saw him in "Mortal Thoughts" that is when I realized his friend was right and he was just a very very talented actor....in any kind of role.
my wife and I ran across this rendition of Ravel's Bolero.
Really enjoy it so much. We re-watch it every month or so:
Lovely!
All-time favorite. Beethoven's 7th Symphony, George Szell, Cleveland Orchestra.
The finale always leaves me breathless.
I will see your Szell, and raise you some Horowitz...
Horowitz plays Moonlight Sonata
Just taking a slight turn with this one that’s a favorite of mine. Oldie, but timeless, imo.
All I Know by Art Garfunkel.
Oh, I never intended the thread to be only classical music.
Just whatever folks like...
here's a fav of mine, from Paul McCartney
Paul McCartney & Wings - Mull of Kintyre
And now for something completely different.
My favorite music is pretty much any music I hear and that I can sing the lyrics. I use that to help cure my aphasia.
