Best Calcium Supplement?

The wellness manufacturer where I shop - a long relationship with them and amazing integrity in their R&D - discovered a mineral problem about a decade ago (it can be researched, was in the news) - in that minerals crystallize in the small intestine without some protective process. It’s too much to type here (you can ask me for the research), but the bottom line is they discovered a way to do a protection of the mineral molecules that copies how plants do it by God’s design. And it has two patents on it; to this date…another way has not happened.

It causes the minerals to be ten times more absorbent, according to that patent research.

I think I am a testimony of its effectiveness. Although I was bummed that I broke my hip last year…it was not a fragility break (missed the rung on a ladder with an 18 pound box that I hung on to because contents were breakable and I am 76). It was a clean break, only needed pins, graduated from everything early - even got kicked out of PT because I “didn’t need it anymore” and life carried on. All the medical people from the hospital to the end of the six weeks were amazed.

I am certain that better usable calcium played a part in that. And this whole ordeal of seeing there work has made me really skeptical about anything on the store shelf. They tested 250 name brand supplements in that research and all of them had this problem of crystallizing minerals AND turning into free radicals - destroying any anti oxidants around them. 🙁

Thanks @joyboudreau. I take red algae calcium which is supposed to be easy to digest and it doesn't bother me. I did have a fragility fracture 3 months ago that hasn't healed. I wonder if you could share again the name of the calcium that you take?

I’m not sure I’m following this. Do you take calcium supplements? Do you also take something else that protects your small intestine from the crystallization of the minerals?
