I’m still on antibiotics and nebulize once daily with 7% (with aeroeclipse). My dr wants it two time daily. My question is about cleaning the saline devise (the areoeclipse is an areobika that attaches to the nebulizer). Do I have to do the complete sterilizer twice? Or just rinse in tap or distilled water? How do you clean it after each use? Thanks

Glad you asked that question.
I have a feeling most who do not want to take any chances would say clean and sterilize after each use. I know many professionals would say that for various reasons.
I, myself, as a newby, feel it doesn't take that long, it does become easier and with planning one's time to do so around other things...if is possible the time to do it all.
With cleaning/disinfecting after each use the problem lies in with how many Aero Eclipse XL's and Aerobikas's are needed with doing all that after each use and then have the pieces dry enough to use again on the same day.
Will look forward to others thoughts etc. especially those having done all of it for more than the six months as I have after my trip up to NJH and then coming home with the nebulizeing peices, compressor and aerobika.

You should have gotten instructions with both the Aeroeclipse and the Aerobika on how to clean and disinfect them. They give a choice of several methods to choose from. I also use both the Aeroeclipse and the Aerobika. They are made by the same company. The Aeroeclipse is a nebulizer that attaches to a compressor with tubing. I wash it in hot, soapy water every day. I disinfect it every other day in a Medela micro-steam bag with 2 oz. of spring water in the microwave. I also wash the Aerobika in hot, soapy water every day. I sterilize it once a week in the Medela bag. I hope this helps. If you no longer have the instructions, I'm sure you can ask for replacements from Monaghan Medical Corp., telephone 800-833-9653.
