I used a prescription written y my pain specialist. He believed in starting low and going slow. I used gummies right before bed. I don’t know if they helped because my other medication took care of my sleep. I stopped taking it. It’s expensive and I didn’t notice any change for the better.

Good evening, I am glad your pain specialist helped with your first medical cannabis dosage. I understand your concerns. Just for feedback purposes, I will share my thoughts and memories.

My life with cannabis began with homemade gummies when my friend in San Miguel de Allende made some for my visit. I don't know if they helped because I already had a pretty responsive nighttime dosage of tincture. What I did notice was the gummies were not impregnated evenly. So.....one small bite may be more saturated than the last one or the next one. I was just beginning to use medical cannabis after my SFN (small fiber neuropathy) diagnosis, so I decided to stay with products that have consistency. That was 11 years ago. Do you find the gummies to be consistent now?

Just a note.....about the potential of products in tinctures. You can easily adjust the dropper quantities. You can experiment with the entourage effects of combining CBD with THC. Depending on your activity, you can have different dosages ready to go. It does sort of put you in charge of prescribing.

Good luck to you, @sue15; I will be watching for your posts.
