I have psp disease
I have progressive supernucleur palsy. Does anyone else have this disease. My friends have gotten me a walker which I use periodically. I am a 66 yr old female that lives on an acreage that enjoys her outside life a lot. I used to enjoy gardening and having the acreage look nice. I am married and have a 30 yr old son that lives in Calgary and is an electrician. I was suppose to have a clinical trial that was suppose to start in the spring but I haven’t heard a word yet. There is no cure for psp and she hasn’t given me any pills to take yet.

Hello @weins1, I moved your discussion to the Brain and Nervous System Support Group (https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/i-have-psp-disease/). I'd also like to invite @afoster80, @anitah and @tgheath to this discussion as they have all talked about a diagnosis of progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) or a loved one with a diagnosis. They may be able to share some of their experiences and what they have learned along their diagnostic journey as well.
@weins1, You mentioned you used to enjoy gardening and maintaining your acreage, have those things become too difficult for you now? Are there others things that you have had to reduce because of your diagnosis?
I can no longer drive. And use to play pickleball but both are no more.
