Is my statin causing peripheral neuropathy?

Yes, I have been taking rosuvastatin for approximately 3 to 4 years under a cardiologist’s care. I started feeling numbness and tingling in my feet two years ago with temporary foot drop on the left side. 18 months ago it went into my fingers and hands making them difficult to use, a motor neuropathy. My B6 was also high when tested, three times the amount, that also causes neuropathy so I was taken off of B6 and all vitamins as well a year ago, which helped with a particular symptom of freezing feet. However, now symptoms include digestive issues and some possible autonomic issues as well. I’m still taking Rosuvastatin 20 mg, however the medical papers I’ve been reading recently make me feel as if I should stop. I have contacted my doctor about it. Thanks for your post, I really appreciate it.

I've been taking Rosuvastin 5mg, only one tab at night, Sun. and Wed. Cardiologist changed it from daily. Don't remember why she lowered it; I guess my labwork was off, fine now.
Have you checked with a podiatrist about the possibility that it's actually Raynaud's Syndrome? When I lived in Soouthern FL, nobody wo9uld confirm it, but once I moved to CT, I found out that it's very common!! Of course, the Podiatrist sent me to a Rheumatologist: she said it's a vascular issue, specifically the tiny capillaries in the toes and the only thing that actually affects those is THC. Legal in yoour state?
I'm dreadfully allergic to Gabapentin...it'll take a few years (for me) before you see the signs:
loss of short-term memory, very sleepy, and I don't remember what else. Of course I also was diagnosed with Peripheral Neuropathy via the 2 prongs into the shin, pressing deeply. I've had the same result 3 times in all. And to top it all off I have Parkinson's...many of the non-motor/motion symptoms overlap with all three conditions. And I do have tingling, off and on, for eons. Don't have a clue why.
So I gave you 2 other conditions to fret over. Sorry.
