It was definitely nickle. Another surgery was done to remove it. Believe it or not surgery was done at hospital of special surgery at NY

Wow that is just stunning. Sorry for your ordeal. The prostheses in my knees are all titanium. I wasn't aware anything else was used. Best to ask I guess.
