It's hard @drsuefowler. In my experience cardiologists don't know much. If they google (mine did) they see the black box warning. They study actually didn't who any difference between Evenity and placebo in terms of cardiovascular risk but slight difference with alendronate.

Then again, I have found the endos don't know cardiology. Mine kept avoiding certain meds because I have afib.

I hope you get some good advice and maybe your docs could talk to each other!!

That would be so nice @windyshores! None of my doctors talk to each other. In fact, I'm lucky if they talk to me. They are so busy squeezing in patients. Interesting that the Evenity study didn't really show any cardiovascular risk compared to placebo. The risk seems to be hypothetical due to the inhibition of sclerostin. It is frustrating and confusing. I have learned so much from the people on this website and wonder how much my doctors actually know. I feel like I'm doctoring myself, which isn't good. Thanks for your comment and your help!
