I had some of the same tingling issues . I also had tingling sensations especially in chin area . I think for me is an allergic reaction to the Pepcid,pantaprazole which is famotidine. I stopped the meds and tingling went away.I also had burning tongue but ent thought it was a vitamin deficiency. Hope this helps. I believe I have a sensitive esophagus because of the acid.I have read about this that People take some type of med to relax nerves called amitriptyline.Haven't tried it.Sometimes I feel a tickle,reactions to hot or certain foods that I must have a sensitivity to. Hard to explain but ppis don’t help. I have to watch what I eat, how much and when…I take reflux gourmet at night or when I start coughing due to going off the diet. I follow Dr .
