Sent some old school pals a photo of me sitting on the beach with the grandkids. They were surprised I could still get up. I said I can but it sure ain't pretty to watch. Best done at sunset when most people have gone home! And definitely no photos allowed.

Yes! After my hip replacement, the PT at clinic asked me to demonstrate how I got myself up from floor. This meant first getting on the floor. I said,”Now?” He said, “Yes.”
I knew I could do it, but it looks incredibly awkward.
PT wanted some work on my technique, but two other patients were more positively impressed and said that they couldn’t do step 1 - getting on floor.
