Hello @k2471147, Welcome to Mayo Connect!

- Need hope: Neuropathy from chemo https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/needshope/

Do you have swelling in the lower legs? Has your doctor had any suggestions? Possibly a Physical Therapy assessment?

Hello,I live in France and we see doctors according to their specialty. Quite tricky as they mostly don’t know anything about the patient .It’s altogether weird as there is absolutely no team following each individual and it’s more a case of the patient having to join the dots. I’m still not convinced I needed this surgery as nothing was discussed and it all happened so fast. I underwent the chemotherapy without much discussion as I was still traumatized by the diagnosis and the surgery. The oncologist was recommended by the surgeon and didn’t discuss any possible side affects so much of my information is through the Internet.
