These poems are for caregivers, one from a recipient's point of view, one a thank you to care givers, one reflects thoughts of a caregiver who receives no pay, no glory, no honor for what they do. But... know that it is truly appreciated. Sometimes those who are the most grateful, cannot put to words their gratitude.
It's ok to share these. All I ask is that my name and copyright information remain intact.

@bigjoek These poems are beautiful and heart warming. The last one, “who will care for me,” really struck a cord with me. I remember saying that so frequently when my oldest son (now 54) was in elementary school and was SO difficult. He took all of my energy and emotion. Today, I think he would be diagnosed as on the autism spectrum but that diagnosis didn’t exist then. And today, he is a successful, loving man. Thank you

Thank you for your meaningful and heartfelt beautiful poetry.

These are beautiful! I had a kidney transplant in Nov 2003 and he was my untiring and selfless caregiver. It is now my turn to return that kindness to him as he is going through the confusion of memory loss and the physical pain of an aging body. I pray that I will be a kinder person by reading daily your gift of words. Thank you again for sharing! 💕
