It's a real pain. I know. When I have it soft or too wet of issues, I take a half does of an OTC stool hardener right afterwords. I get the generic version for better price. I have had 2 organ transplants over the past 24 years so I have experienced some annoying issues that took a bit to control. If I were you, talk to a Gastrointestinal Doctor. I had a Heptologist who works in the Transplant area. A Hep doc is a Gast doc but deals with livers and transplants.
