How will I know if symptoms are a possible reccurence?
I'm curious about symptoms of reccurence. I had a double mastectomy and am on an AI so how will I know if I'm having AI side effects or pains are actually reccurence. Anyone care to share their reccurence stories?

@sirene how far out from diagnosis are you?
I asked my oncologist about Signatera and they said they don't do it unless recurrence is already present.
I am 9 years out but as you know, risk continues to rise with hormonal cancers.
I am 18 months out from diagnosis. You may be able to order the test yourself directly from Signatera. They send a phlebotomist out to collect your blood. They do need to get your tumor sample as well. The hospital usually has it for years and years, so check into that .
Get a CA27.29 blood test at least every 6 months.
Tumor markers can indicate the presence of cancer.
My doctors don't do these. It's been so long I don't even remember why. I am very proactive with health but cancer has been on the back burner!
@sirene I have used my tumor samples many times since diagnosis. I am practically on a first name basis with lab folks!
Great! Lol
Yes they do, AND with STRESS!
