@contentandwell, The surgeon's PA told me I need to have an OK to do the surgery from my PCP. I'm guessing he's relying on the PCP that I'm healthy enough to have the surgery done.

@johnbishop Gotcha, so not a referral. That's understandable. I just never ask my PCP about anything, but I do check with my transplant department.
