Congratulations on your the great success with your knee replacement, @contentandwell. You should be a poster child for TKR! It sounds like you have had some great surgeons who have excellent technique with this type of surgery.

@hopeful33250 my second surgeon is positively great. I had hoped to have the TKR in 2013, prior to my cirrhosis diagnosis, but as I lay there waiting to go into surgery, IV in my hand, the surgeon came to me and told he couldn't do it because my platelets were too low, which is a symptom of cirrhosis.
Initially when I had been in his waiting room there were people from other parts of the country there to go to him, he has such a great reputation. For some reason on his info it did not say that he was certified so I didn't use him for my first TKR. He is of course, just did not include that info.
