Functional drs will take you as they normally don’t take insurance period (well, maybe medicare). It is only out of pocket.

@kamommy I don’t think there are any functional doctors in Canada. Health insurance is government run.

I live in Mexico. The situation is somewhat different. Most private doctors accept most insurance. They know most of their patients could not pay out of pocket.

I don't know that there are functional doctors in Mexico.
