Sounds like you are putting a lot of pressure on the knees. Stairs are the worst! My Dr told me the more I abuse the new new knee the faster it will wear out. As far as shoes, I invested in a pair of "HOKA" walking shoes, which is what a lot of hospital workers wear. Cost me around $160. , but worth it.

Thank you, went to Schuler Shoes on Sunday actually got fitted with “Brooks” we’ll see how these work otherwise I’ll go back and ask them about the HOKA
Yes, I was doing great up until I had to transfer stores a little over a month ago. That is why I reached out.
Don’t want to go running back to my surgeon quite yet may contact my physical therapist. First see what he has to say.
But yes, I know stairs aren’t the greatest but right now I have no choice.
