i had a Cortisone shot about two months ago. it seemed to work for a couple of days. also for a bulging disc at L5 also. it did not hurt like yours. but then again, he did not hit a nerve. so maybe it's good he did with you. also how long ago did you have this done? so hard to tell with something like this. i hope he did not do anything irreversible to you. sadly only time will tell. good luck. please keep me informed. d 🏳️🌈

I had it done 1/27/24 by pain management dr. That's my biggest fear - permanent damage. Knowing what I know now. I would have never consented to it.

I have had so many epidurals, I have lost track. Seems the "go to" thing for pain docs. I tell them, "I've had them before. They have not worked". They say, "Well, let's give it another "shot" (pun intended).
