@bart57 have you had your circulation checked in that leg/foot? If you have diminished circulation to the offending wound due to poor circulation you need a vascular surgeon. Are you a diabetic as this causes blood vessel damage leading to poor circulation in distal blood vessels? Hyperbaric oxygen therapy can aid in healing where poor circulation is an issue. A wound care center can offer you the best bang for your buck as they are one stop shops when it comes to wound care healing.

Yes, i have had veins surgery but again i get a little closer on healing the wound.
Then it opened up again and my neurologist and wound doctor says this will be an ongoing thing probably the rest of my life.
I have been in a special boot non-load bearing for my big toe for two years. My nurse changes the bandage puts collagen and silver in the wound every three days.this is so hard. Im very active, i don’t sit very much.
But i do get depressed.
