How bad did the pain get before you quit Forteo

Upper back pain-So bad it makes me cry.
Pain in wrist (feels like bone pain).

What criteria should you consider before quitting Forteo?

Sorry to hear your side effects while using Forteo. I had to quit Evenity because the side effects were increasing. I found that my body was the best doctor and it lets me know when things are not right. Please discuss your concerns with your doctor. There are other meds out there that may be better for you with respect to side effects. Best wishes for good health.

Thanks for responding me49.

My doctor is unconcerned.

She just asks me if I want to stop.

What alternatives should I consider?

I am not a doctor, but you can ask about Tymlos. It is an injection that can have the dose adjusted so you can gradually increase it until you get the full dose. You can read about other patient experiences on this website. Also, there is a website by the National Osteoporosis Foundation called Team Inspire. You can look at comments there as well. Best wishes in discovering the best treatment for you.
