@gailfaith For those of you who have had a knee replacement and have any limited flexion, has any one accidentally over flexed their "new" knees which in turn interfered with your balance? Trying to get up from a restaurant booth, my friend, trying to help me get up, pulled me off the seat and I landed on my knees. I immediately knew that my knees were over flexed. Knowing there was no way I could get up and because of the pain, I started to scream. People came to help me up, but I didn't want to try standing until I knew what, if any permanent damage was done, so I went by ambulance to the hospital where they found no major damage. Because I also have myotonic dystrophy my balance is a little bit compromised already, but now much more so. My physical therapist says that I should be OK in 2-4 weeks, but it has already been 1.5 weeks and I see little progress. If this has happened to you, how long did it take you to get your balance back to where it was before you fell?

My problem was lack of flexibility" worked hard at but swelling never went down and it's been three years. I play golf and that knee hurts, stem cell knee does not. Would like a do over.
