McCormick is suggesting Evenity because as he says, "it gets you out of a hole the fastest." However, you can do Evenity after Tymlos.
Evenity "turbo charges" bone growth first as a bone builder and then as an anti-resorptive. Tymlos builds quality bone the whole time and is not an anti-resorptive (anti-resorptives alter bone turnover).
Your scores are not good so he is probably worried you might fracture. But Tymlos does most of its work in the first year or even sooner so I think it is a good drug. If you don't like it, you will have a way to get insurance for Evenity!
