I watch him faiirly regularly, and he seems to be very knowledgeable, with a curious and well-trained mind. I appreciate his pyramid approach to osteoporosis, and wellness generally. It's the opposite of what I experienced when I got a "severe osteoporosis" diagnosis a year ago. Went to 3 drs., all of whom insisted that I go on a drug immediately, based solely on DEXA. When I argued that perhaps my DEXA was not accurate--it didn't seem that the place I got it was well-regulated--they said, "Whatever--your scores are way too high, 20x more likely to fracture, etc."
When I found Dr. Lucas (after having started EVenity), my consolation was that I could not have afforded him in the first place. Now I appreciate very much his reasoned, concise, and always informative youtubes. I think he's a credit to his profession.
BTW, I recall Lucas saying that strontium is maybe not a good idea.

This is a podcast from Dr. William MD. busting the myth about Strontium Citrate. He cites clinical studies and is a proponent of SC as effective in building bone and reducing fracture risk with minimal side effects. Very informative and really helps educate on the benefits of SC.

BTW. I recall Lucas as being supportive of strontium use for osteoporosis. But whether or not he is, this podcast cleared up misconceptions about its use.
