I have had constant nausea and constant abdominal spasms for almost 3 years. My GI doctor kept treating it as IBS even when I didn't have IBS symptoms. Finally a few weeks ago I talked with a very educated nurse and she suggested that I talk to my GI doctor about trying a low dose of haldol. My doctor decided to see if haldol helps, I have been on it for 3 weeks and I feel much better.

Sounds like some of the effects I’m having too. As soon as I wake up my stomach feels like it’s inflamed and it feels jittery, slight nausea and lightheadedness. These symptoms last all day and up to around 9:00pm when they subside. This had all started about three years ago after going through chemotherapy for breast cancer . The first chemo treatment I got c-diff and was put on antibiotics. Only had two chemo treatments before getting mastectomy. I went to GI doctor and was put on Nortriptyline. Doesn’t help the symptoms during the day. What does haldol do and I’m wondering if it could help my symptoms.
