Anecdotally, when I was seen in urgent care for a sore throat I thought was strep but was not, the doctor of Indian descent, suggested I gargle with turmeric. I did and it helped a lot.
Gargle with:
1/2 c warm water
1/2 teasp salt
1/4 teasp powdered tumeric
I support everyone listening to their Doctors and taking the Docs recommended vaccines.
My case is unique. I had very bad reactions to the Covid boosters. The one I had last August was my fifth Covid shot and I believe that is why my Pulmonologist at Mayo said no more Covid shots because it lowered my immune system so much I caught strep. When I met with her n person, I expressed my concern about RSV because I had several friends that had bad reactions to it, when they had no reaction to Covid. Knowing how I react to vaccines, my Doc recommended that she didn’t think it was necessary for me considering my reactions to vaccines. She also said that there were not enough studies yet to justify it for me. She might have recommended it for other patients that did not have reactions like me. Getting vaccines is individual between you and your Doctor.
I will private message you about the herbs I took that helped me get over strep. Please know that I have used natural products of herbs, homeopathics, and essential oils for over 30 years. That is what my body is use to. I do use antibiotics, when I have an infection but not long term.
Here is a comprehensive summary. The McCollough protocol includes herbs.
