I appreciate that tip. I have tried a couple of different bikes at the gym and at PT, but each time they caused knee pain. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Perhaps, I’ll give it another shot since I’m strengthening my knees now. Oh, it’s my right knee that has torn meniscus. I misstated that upthread.

The Cubi helped pre and post tkr and it is still part of my exercise routine along with bands and wall planking

Hi Celia, I have shredded meniscus and once hurt my knee on the bike. I think I injured it because I had my foot not straight but at an angle and I was in a hurry to finish up and ignored the slight pain I was feeling. Then to make matters worst I went into the city and did 2 museum tours because at that point it really didn't hurt that much. Well the next day I paid for it. I could barely walk and couldn't to the bike much less walk right for several months. Now when I'm on the bike I pay attention to my foot position and I never do the bike if I'm in a hurry. The good news is my legs have gotten much stronger. I can take a bath and not have to worry about getting in and out of the tub. Wish you all the best !
