Wise Men Healing Balm for neuropathy
I can across this Wise Men Healing Balm. I’ve been using a frankincense & Myrrh oil for sometime. While it helped some I thought I’d try this one in balm form.
I used it this morning and just now. And I’m stunned that it helps relieve my pain. I understand everyone is different.
I have peripheral neuropathy.
I found it on Amazon.

I’m with you-
Can’t stand my foot pain every evening, I do take something for pain before bed, even though I do t like to, but I need it.
I’ve also tried ointments, and creams, with no relief.
Salon pas does help for awhile.
I’ve tried all of the above, with little or no relief.
@njed You and I have twin symptoms..... poor balance, no pain. I just ordered some of this balm.... and will see if it makes any difference with tingling and numbness for me. My PT keeps telling me that the balance issue is from proprioception that has been "lost" because of the compression on the nerves.... but, he says it can be re-learned. It's how babies learn to crawl.... and then crawlers learn to walk.... they stumble, they fall, but they continue to get up and try... and eventually the brain develops the connection between it and those movements that provide balance. I plan to keep getting up and walking and moving as much as I can... and hope that my brain may eventually reestablish those patters of proprioception to give me more of a sense of balance. Fingers crossed!!! Mike
I’ve tried all of the above, with little or no relief.
My podiatrist had a cream compounded for me and it was made up of several different ingredients like Lidocaine, DICLOFENAC, AMITRIPTYLINE,GABAPENTIN and maybe one other.
It really didn’t give me much relief, and didn’t last long either.
After several days I developed a rash on my feet, prob an allergic reaction,so I had to stop using it.
@domiha Mike - I've seen many comments on Connect about numbness and balance issues, so we are not alone! I went to PT for a few years and did not get anticipated results. In my case, if there are not continued signs of improvement, insurance will not pay. Makes no sense, what about maintaining what we have? Not good enough. So, I do the exercises at home, got a stationary bike, etc. If able to do so, I encourage anyone to enter PT and depending on the cause of the peripheral neuropathy, PT could help. Your PT makes sense. For me, it comes to preserving what you now have which is why I believe it is vital to keep moving. Wish you the best! Ed
Wise men balm has a little scent. It’s not overwhelming in my opinion. My neuropathy oil is highly scented but I don’t mind. So I understand how you feel.
I have tried a prescription pain medication cream that is compounded. I am allergic to so many medications. The cream has bacoflin, gabapentin, ketamine and a bunch of other ingredient’s it also has a long acting lidocaine type medication but it’s not called lidocaine. . I will get the breakdown on Monday when the compounding pharmacy is open.
My husband rubs it into my feet. Since my feet stay cold I sleep with socks on.
Frankincense and myrrh should be diluted with a carrier oil. The Wise Men balm isn't overpowering because its diluted. It works well for me but its important you work it in with a massage.
It's so important wise men gets worked in with a good massage so the nerves disseminate the oils throughout the body. Impulses carry the essential oils up the nerve pathway.
I am in the same boat with the balance issues and no pain. Tingling, burning and some numbness in feet and calves. My feet feel like I have a very tight sock on. I will try the balm also. Thanks for the info and good luck.
